Kenstep Savings Account

Life being full of surprises, this is a product designed to encourage individuals and groups to set aside money gradually to meet future and unforeseeable needs whilst generating some earnings on your savings.

This is how interested and qualified entities can apply for Kenstep Savings Account:

  • Complete the relevant application form as provided by the Kenstep Microfinance Limited
  • Two Passport size photographs
  • National ID
  • Resident Permit when a foreigner
  • Minimum of GH¢15 required to open account

Kenstep Boom Savings Account

This is a special savings account geared towards encouraging individuals, groups and corporate entities to set aside money gradually for a much longer period to meet future and unforeseeable needs, have a chance of withdrawing four times a year and earning 13% per annum.  This product gives a higher chance of accessing our loan products.

The key features of this account are: 

  • Interest earned the savings,
  • Monthly Statements of account are given upon request
  • Passbook provided
  • No Bank Charges

The following legal entities are eligible to open this accounts with the Kenstep Microfinance limited:   

  • Individuals
  • Enterprises
  • Corporations
  • Societies / Associations

  • Complete the relevant application form as provided by the Kenstep Microfinance Limited
  • Two Passport size photographs
  • National ID
  • Resident Permit when a foreigner

This is a savings product designed to encourage parents and guardians to hold an account in trust of their ward and set aside money gradually towards meeting the future needs of their ward. The account will be automatically transferred to the child on attaining the age of Eighteen (18) years.

The key features of this account are: 

  • Interest of 10% per annum is earned the account,
  • Monthly Statements of account are given upon request
  • Passbook provided
  • No Bank Charges

Kenstep SME's Account

This is a savings account specifically designed for Companies or SMEs who wish to save to meet future and unforeseeable needs without attracting any charges.

  • No Bank Charges

The following legal entities are eligible to open this accounts with the Kenstep Microfinance limited:   

  • Enterprises
  • Corporations

  • Two Passport size photographs of proprietor/partner(s)/Director(s)
  • National ID of proprietor/partner(s)/Director(s)
  • Resident Permit when a foreigner
  • Minimum of GH¢150 required to open account

Kenstep Susu

This is a regular ‘Susu’ product specially designed for individuals, Petty traders, Shop owners, Micro-enterprises and those in the transport business who get regular inflows.

The key features of the Savings Accounts are: 

  • Monthly Statements of account are given upon request
  • Passbook provided
  • No Bank Charges
  • Agree on regular amount to be collected (daily, weekly and fortnightly)
  • A minimum regular contribution of GH¢5
  • Deductions are made on the first contribution of the customer account
